Jelly Jump
ArcadeJelly Jump is a breezy, endless bouncer. Your wobbly jelly auto-bounces off every platform it lands on, so all you do is steer left and right to line up the next landing. Climb as high as you can. The higher you get, the bigger the score. Miss a platform and it is a long way down.
How to Play
Goal: Bounce as high as possible and set a new best height.
Controls: Use the left and right arrow keys on desktop. On a phone, tap the left and right buttons below the game, or tilt your device left and right if it asks for motion permission. The jelly wraps around the screen edges, so going off one side brings you back on the other.
Rules: The jelly bounces automatically each time it lands on a platform, so you never need to jump. Just steer onto the next platform. If you fall below the bottom of the screen, the run is over. The camera climbs with you, so keep moving up.
Origin: The auto-bounce endless climber was made famous by Doodle Jump, covered on Wikipedia.
About Jelly Jump
Jelly Jump is a vertical hopper in the proud lineage of Doodle Jump, the 2009 mobile hit that defined the endless climber: bounce from platform to platform, never look down, and let the rising camera be your executioner. Our jelly hero adds a squishy bit of charm to a formula that has been eating commutes for over fifteen years.
Climbers live and die on trajectory reading. Platforms come in honest, moving and crumbling varieties, and the game slowly swaps the honest ones out from under you. Because you steer in the air rather than on the ground, every jump is a commitment made a second before it lands, which is exactly where the tension lives.
Jelly Jump climbing tips
- Plan two platforms ahead. The platform you are landing on was last jump's decision; your eyes belong on the next one.
- Favor the middle of the screen. Central platforms leave you escape routes in both directions.
- Treat crumbling platforms as one-touch springboards, land and leave in the same bounce.
- Time jumps onto moving platforms at the ends of their sweep, where they briefly slow and reverse.
- Never chase a bonus below your feet. In a climber, height is life and gravity does not negotiate.
FAQ
How do I steer in the air?
Tilt your jump left or right with the arrow keys on desktop or the touch controls on mobile. Steering is gentle by design, small corrections early in the arc beat big swerves at the end, so aim from the top of your bounce.
What kills a run in Jelly Jump?
Falling below the bottom of the screen. As you climb, the camera rises and the floor you came from disappears, so any missed platform near the bottom edge is fatal. There are no health bars in climbers, only altitude.
Are all platforms the same?
No, some drift sideways and some crumble after one touch. Higher altitudes deal you fewer safe platforms, which is how the game raises difficulty without ever changing your jump. Learn each type's rhythm and treat crumblers as stepping stones.
Is my best height saved?
Yes, your best score is kept locally in your browser on this device. Beating it is the whole sport, chase one more platform every run.
